Small details 782/2072

Post by Bsmith »

I was able to get after some small details on two of my tractors the other day.

I came across two NOS IH armrest kits and got them put on. I installed some nut inserts in the seat backs to mount the brackets. We have an old low back seat back that we use for a pattern to locate the holes. You have one shot to get them right and you need to be careful not to drill through the seat foam.

After that I did a simpler job. I found a NOS steering wheel cap and decal for my 2072. My old one was very discolored and faded. Real easy to pop the old one off and install the new one. What a difference the new cap makes though.

Here are some pictures.
