Roller Can Hook Up

Post by ReicheP »

New trash company, roller cans required, 200 ft up hill dirt driveway solved. Adapter from Amazon and the trusty Cub Cadet.

Well done. Wonder how long the plastic wheels will last?

I would expect as long as they would when dragged or pushed down the driveway.

Our new garbage company uses the same style of trashcans. I just drop the handle over the ball on my Jeeps trailer hitch & drag it down the driveway as fast as second gear will take me. I may or may not try to run the can through the mudpuddles.....

My son mentioned that he has seen a few roller cans traveling down I-80 at 65 mph on the back of cars.

Yep...Looks familiar. U should have better control than my work van. While bringing back empty if I would go a touch too fast and hit a stone or bump.....The second one turns on its side....And I find out 300 feet later.

Paul, that's pretty cool! I wish they let us have big cans with big wheels. We still have men riding the trash truck so we can't have larger than 33 gallon with tiny wheels.

Paul, funny, looked at those just the week before at HD, but... rules, rules, rules here. Not over 34 gallon AND no attached lids! I thought about cutting the lid at the hinges so it would come off, but they might still drive right by thinking it had a hinged lid! I will just keep getting by, not a big deal compared to real problems.

I guess that would work better than bungee cords...
