Electric wire issues! Wires are cut in some places and worn in others. I would like to build a new wire harness. Does anyone know what are gauge wires from battery to points used on a 129 with no lights!

16 gauge on everything but the battery cables, 6 gauge on those.

I found that the starter solenoid is bad. I got a turn up kit. I replaced the points and started looking for the condenser.There was not one on the tractor. Where and does it originally have one?

Gota have one! It goes to the neg side of the coil and just mounts to one of the coil mounting screws.

I took out the wire harness and starter solenoid. The harness insulation off in several spots. The solenoid had a crack across it. Connector on the amp gauge got a burnt. Cleaned transmission had about 20 + dirt on it. Next step will be building a harness. Making the fuel tank solid piece with no holes.

A lot of effort to make a harness. Mike makes great harnesses with correct connectors, etc.
