While sanding down the fuel tank . I noticed several holes in top of the tank. Any ideas ?

No really.... sounds like u need a new tank. I know there is stuff out there to repair but u will probably spend more money and aggravation than get a new used one. There's Cub junk yards out there just waiting for your call. If I had to guess....$25-45 should buy one
127, 1650, 1572, 1872, 2072 . A mower, blower and blade for each.
