109 revival update
Finally got the 109 reassembled. Decarboned the top end, ground, lapped and adjusted valves, decked the head, rebuilt carb, new points, and new bearing plate gaskets. This engine did not have an insulator between carb and block? I put one on it even though the parts diagram only shows a gasket. Will this cause any grief? I need to weld up the drive hub from a bolt eating it then back in the tractor it goes and I can work my way through the hydro. Just a good cleaning and service I hope

Re: 109 revival update
Corey - Sounds like you are good with it! In general, I wouldn't suspect a carb spacer would hurt anything unless it causes a clearance issue somewhere.
