100 steering box
Can someone tell me the length of the steering gear in a 100?

Well, I've had my 100 since 84 and the steering box was badly in need of an overhaul then so I'm near 100% positive that's what it rolled off the line with.
I'm getting 17 1/4" from the bottom of the rubber bushing to the very top of the steering box.
The rubber bushing is about 1/2" thick.
From the top of the bushing to the felt seal it measures 2 1/4".
That would give me 20" in tube length from the measurable start at the gear box housing end to the tubes end at the steering wheel.
There are three different lengths I'm aware of, perhaps more.
