109 blow by?

Post by cwcub »

I put the 44c deck and deck hanger from my 1450 with speed up pulleyon the 109. Set up the carb and engine speed @ 3600. Runs well mows great however I noticed light blue smoke from the crank vent and a fairly strong flow of air from it. My question is how much smoke would be considered normal? The smoke is light and not easily seen unless in the direct sun light. Should I be thinking about ringing it? The bore looked good when I had the head off. The engine starts and runs well and easily handles the 44 in. Deck
I need to pick up new screws for the floor boards and tunnel cover

Run it and check the oil everyone before you start it. See if you are losing oil. Excessive smoke from the breather could certainly be blow by.
