Predictions for starting Sunday Afternoon her 18-24+ inches.
Decided to fire up the 126 after a 2 month layover. Crank but no start. Changing out the pug and good to go. Let it run for 20 minutes and it seems happy.
I have been hearing a clunking noise coming from the rear of the 102 since November. That started right up today but the noise had changed to a metal scraping sound. Started looking around for loose chains and then I saw what was going on This is exactly what I found.
Now I suspect what happened here is that I did not torque down that side and tossed the wheel weight on after changing out to the Winter tires in September.
All five lug nuts are toast.
But I should be good to go now barring any unforeseen circumstances

Ken
No fun!
I hope round one was not to bad? A dusting at work a mile from Long Island sound, melted by lunch, nothing at home.
$60/25 gallons of gas this morning both the plow truck, cubs, and generator are ready! I haven’t fired the 2 stroke for the deck in a few weeks but I have enough mix to make 5 gallons. Should be ready in the snow defense department!
A full propane tank for the house a full oil tank for the heat, and 3 cords of wood Incase we lose power/genartor back up! We should be good!

While yesterdays forecast had us targeted in the 30"+ zone the front shifted 50 miles due north and dumped it on the ski resorts where it belongs. Still, there's at least 15 here and it is a delight to throw. All loose granular powder, the best that I have seen in years. If you ski the conditions could not be better, come on up!
Temp 10 degrees with little drifting. The 126 started right up thanks to the battery charge pack inside the dash tower. The principal problem is traction with the driveway all iced underneath and had to back out and go again several times. No point in doing a real good job until it comes to an end, still coming down at the rate of an inch an hour.
