'66 Cub 102 questions
I just bought a 1966 102 Cub garden tractor. Can I still get attachments for it, such as snow thrower, blade, plow?
Tom, Dave.. where are you guys ? It's still Danni, just different last name and moved away from Fort Wayne.

Oh yeah...I didn't realize it was you...with the different last name....I just thought there was another oldgraygoose....lol.
Hi! Sounds like you have been busy with life...and tractors
Sure you can still get attachments for the 102. You will need to become friends with Craigslist or a local tractor salvage yard. Those snow throwers "qa36"are probably more rare as it is for what's called a narrow frame. Someone can help me out...I'm pretty sure the "qa36a" works on the 102s. I don't know if I would try a 42" blower on 10 horse. Ken probably does it ....idk.
Tom has dropped off the face of the Earth...I think he has a job or something like that....

Re: '66 Cub 102 questions
Well, thanks for the reply. I was beginning to think you had also dropped off the face of the Earth. So, this Cub is a narrow frame, huh. My 8 year old nephew sold the Cub to me for $100... .of course I had just bought him a dirt bike.. he made out pretty good. He said "Aunt Danni, you're gonna have to get used to a clutch.. no more shifting on the fly"..
Anyhow.. can I get after market attachments for it? I saw YouTube videos of people using plows and snow throwers with a 102..There is no deck on it, but the attaching apparatus is still there.I could use any good input, guys.

Re: '66 Cub 102 questions
Danni, nice to see you around again. As dag said, used attachments are the only practical option I know of. Should be enough around that you should be able to find decent stuff. Merk wouldn't steer you wrong, I would call Scott as he suggests!

The 102 I used to have came (and went) with the 42" CI end mower deck.

Re: '66 Cub 102 questions
Pretty much any NF attachment will fit. You can ever use the quick attach attachments but you will have to bolt them on ( no big deal, the holes are the same). One winter I had an engine problem with my 125 and put my QA-42 snow thrower on my 122. Bolted it up and off I went.

Danni, "Narrow Frame"... Any NF attachments will work on your machine. Still lots out there to be had, no reason to cobble anything aftermarket together.
