Some years ago, someone posted a picture of a belt that they had found that pretty-much filled the V-grooves on the pulleys; it was a lot healthier looking belt than the little rubber-band that is on mine.
I thought I had bookmarked it, but I can't find it.
Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

>>>>> Just a heads up = I just found these on clearance at Rock Auto for $1.49 each --- believe it or not.
Go to "Part Number Search", type in Gates 7315 XL and they will come up.
I got three on the way.

Re: 129 Starter Belt ???
Huh. Gates may be phasing them out. While the 31 and 32 inch belts are normally in stock at local auto parts stores I've had to order the 31 1/2" belt and wait one day a couple of times. 7320 and 7310 will not work- they are too long or too short.
