Re: mower deck rebuild
Looks Great! I forget what has been discussed on the thread earlier but on two decks i have coated the stiffener plate with grease...then assembled. I dont have 50 years of testing on that work but i know for a fact it should not rust anymore between the two. install grease between any two mating surfaces. Send more pics in 2022 when you finally get it all together Just kidding....some of my projects have been 5-10 years maybe

Re: mower deck rebuild
I have the day off work today and did some work on the mower deck.... but can't share pics because the file is too big? Using the same phone as the last pic I uploaded... anyone have any ideas? Threads with no pics are lame....

Try it now... the total for the board was set at 10000 MB... and we were at 8.8 GB but the translations isnt perfect. that may have been causing a problem

Re: mower deck rebuild
IH logo looks correct In the last picture.
I don’t think I’ve seen the IH and the no step decal on the same deck?
Safety decal goes on the discharge side facing outward.

Re: mower deck rebuild
Yeah, I have no idea. Both my decks were heavily repainted/abused so I have no idea. All four stickers came as a set so I figured they all go on the same deck. But maybe not? I defure to the experts...
Thanks

Re: mower deck rebuild
Ok. I got it working. I have to go in and change the size of the photo for some reason. The photo I was trying to upload was only 3.4 mb but I was still getting a caution sign saying that it didn't like the size and url something or other. anyway.. this is out of the rotary mower owners manual.

Re: mower deck rebuild
Thanks for the compliment. I have another deck that is in pretty rough shape that I have been using while this one was getting rebuilt. At some point I must have switched covers. I noticed that the cover on the rebuilt one has a few waves and dents in it. At some point I will get the better cover sandblasted and powdered and put it on.
