Have we been hacked?

Post by BigMike »

I got notifications of private messages from Dag and Tom both saying “hi”
Seems odd, even for Dag. :ugeek:

That's what I like about this forum, we're like a small dysfunctional family, but still pretty good family, even if dysfunctional. The core members return occasionally and check in even if they've been away for a while.

I'm guilty, I've had some stuff I could post, but just stupid busy. Perhaps after summer tails off I can be more useful on here.

Tom, have you and Dag been drinking copper kettle spring water?
I honestly have no idea where that came from.

I do enjoy a wee bit of good bourbon here and there! But usually just a couple of beers, and not at 2 pm when I typed that.

Oh man...when I saw the title I thought this was legit. Then I thought..oh man Tom will go complete "Karen" on hackers like he normally does. Then I saw the hacker was big mike and I thought... yeah Big mike is a hack. Now it's all making sense. I better sign off before I dig my grave any deeper.

"Hi". Well ..I never have claimed to be very good with the whole computer/sending/receiving stuff. What I do know about this private message, I typed a message to you and Tom, then I had to take care of something else on my phone, when I came back to it it was gone. Maybe something got sent...idk. I retyped the message and thought I sent to you two again. Sorry for confusion. Let me see about resending something. Lol

Ugh... the tech problem was on your end! Just cause I'm not a nerd doesn't mean this was my fault. Tom got the message just fine! We have been laughing since the first message then conspired about how to mess with you. Lol. It obviously worked like a charm. You were all worried. Lol. Great job Tom sabotaging Mikes account

BM - Unfortunately it seems dag has you on this one, his PM (with a body of text, not just a subject line) was sent to both of us. I also responded with some of my normal kind words of salutation, which it seems you didn't receive either. If you're using your phone, perhaps try on a computer.

But, CONTRARY to dag's stirring up of trouble, I have NOT messed with anyone's account!

Ha! Actually it's only dag that I kind of messed with before (I think I was playing with the moderator tools and gave him a "warning" or something), but I soon learned he's the kind of guy that will take practical jokes to the next level, so I tend to let him be as well! I don't generally go for any type of behind the scenes "Tomfoolery", I just like the out in front slap-boxing we do!

Painful as it is to admit, Dag was correct.
I tried to look at the PMs from my phone and couldn’t get them to open.
