weel shovel?

This is just like the old coffee shop, which was like the old coffee shop down the street. Pull up a chair, sit down and enjoy some good discussions. Please, no political, religious or racial posts.

weel shovel?

Post by Bob F »

Hi all. This followed me home. It is a large scoop, with long handles, and wheels, It works like a wheelbarrow. It has a brass tag that says:

Seedburo equipment company
seed trade reportin bureau
seedburo qualaty
chicago ill

Any body know any thing about it?

I dunno how good that would be in the dirt as it looks to have such small wheels on it. Though interesting it is!

Just guessing , but that seems like it would be handy gathering corn cobs or maybe some type of seed or nuts that were laid out on floor to dry ?

Hey Bob, You had me head scratchin all evening.
Tried to Google info with no luck
Took it to another forum and I got these responses so far.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________When I was young they used to have one like that at the coal company. You backed up to a boxcar of coal and this shovel was in rhere to load your truck with. But I don't think they were quite that big.

Second post,
