They look to me like the wheel weights that came with the grass baggers for MTD 800 series Garden tractors back in the late 90's, early 2000's. Something that would be labeled as a yardman or a huskee or such. I remember putting a set of those on a tractor we sold for a customer when I worked at TSC. They were part of the grass bagger attachment kit for tractors with a 46 inch deck at that time.
Cub's of the farm currently: 4-Originals, 2-70's, 100, 122, 123, 124, 73, 106, 107, 126, 800, 782IH built, 982IHbuilt, 782D, 1572. Farmall Cub and Cub Lo-Boy and too many attatchments to think about.

I found this on a Sears site for an MTD Grass Collector.
I don't thing that ring came with it.

If memory serves me those where also used as front wheel weights on certian MTD made garden and lawn tractors.
