Kubota Engine Parts

Post by albie »

A few years back I rebuilt a Kubota engine in a Miller welder and the owner got all the parts from some Kubota parts place somewhere on the east coast. Just wondering if anyone could help me on this. Their prices were very good compared to the local dealer(which by the way is a pain in the @&& to deal with. Thanks

Albie, your suppose to have an account to order parts from them. I am one of the few new england kubota dealers. They probably would of transfered you to me anyways...haha. Sometimes you can sneak through but most of the time they'll transfer you to a dealer. I help others on the forum with parts all the time....like the short guy I over shadow. What he lacks in height, he makes up for in mouth...especially at the plow day this year! HAHA! Just shot me an email over with needs and be glad to get you pricing. Hope all is well with you and the family and hope to see you soon. Michael

thanks Dave and Mike It is for a friend working on a Kubota mini excavator. Our local Kubota tractor dealer is a pain to deal with.

Albie - I am in Northern Maryland as well, and have been getting my Cub and Kubota parts from Messicks in PA. They have been real good to deal with. I have never been there, just order online or over the phone and it is delivered to my door within a day or two (next day if it is in stock). http://www.messicks.com Their web site even shows if they have it in stock. Just another option...

Thanks Tom, just trying to find other options other than dealing with hickory international, they tend to be a bit pricey and aren't the most accurate at looking up parts.

I'm right there with ya Albie, I hate dealing with them! If you do need anything from Engine Mike, I may be going to their show the end of the month, could save on shipping!

Albie - That's why I look up all my own parts. I use partstree.com and Messicks.com as look up sites. You do need to keep your eye out for parts that appear to be NLA, but have been superseded. If it comes up as $0.00 on Messick's site, it usually means NLA, but not always. I take that part number and look for it individually on their look-up, and sometimes it shows the superseded number. That is why I also double check using partstree.com; sometimes they will give additional info for the same part. When I have needed competent help, Messick's has been pretty good over the phone. I have even had them call Cub for clarification on something that was not clear on the look-up, and they came through for me.
