One of our members here is having a difficult time .. job related .. it is causing much anxiety, and stress it is difficult to bare. Changing jobs is not an option at this point for obvious reasons explained to me.

I would like those Brothers and Sisters within the forum to come forth in prayer asking God to be with him and family through this difficult time. Thanks !

I know he will be reading this Post so If you will, lets show him some support.

One thing I have learned in the past few years is that God will never put a load on your shoulders that he thinks you can't carry, and He is always there to give you a boost when you stumble. In my thoughts.

My Friends-
We had a very tragic hunting accident occur around these parts over the weekend.
Three men entered the woods deer hunting and only one man ( a coworker of mine) left.
In spite of the internet chatter going on about foolishness and drink, or whatever :x I do know that these guys were professional hunters and the best of friends for many, many years.
I can't possibly imagine what that long, lonesome trek back to the cabin could have been like.
And I fear for the sanity of the sole survivor-
Please keep him in your prayers, I am not one to bend a knee often- thank you.

Well, no real way to sugar coat this. Found out earlier this week my wife Mary tested positive for breast cancer.

About a month ago she found a small lump. Couple mammograms later plus an ultrasound confirmed. Specialist did a biopsy and we got the results which are positive for breast cancer.

Mary is scheduled for a check of her lymph nodes in radiology then surgical removal of the lump on wednesday Dec 21. I took off that day and the next day to be with her.

She's keeping a positive attitude and we're trying to keep busy ( no "idle minds" )

Please say a prayer for Mary and hope it's been caught early.

Thanks
Jeff

Mary's surgery has been posponed. There is a problem with her EKG test results. She'll be seeing the cardiologist on wednesday.

Thanks for the prayers and I'll keep everyone updated

Mary had her surgery today to remove the lump. Mary is doing well and the surgeon was very happy with how things went.

She's sleeping now and will be off of work for a week.

The second EKG looked the same as the first and she was cleared for surgery.

Thanks for the prayers and please keep them coming.

Thanks

I got this last night. Some of you may now Clay, he was on the IHR and I belive hes here, but hadnt heard from him in a good long while. Well last night he resopneded to a mass email for my plow day, and it really took me back. I hope everyone will remember him and his family in their prayers.

Hey Vincent, wish I could make it. I'm stuck in a hospital fighting cancer. Stage 4 cancer of the esophogus. It has covered most of my esophogus and has spread to my stomach, liver, gall bladder, and lymph nodes. Dr. said he expects to find more Wed when they do a pet scan. Ya'll keep me and my parents in your prayers please. This is hurting my parents much more than me.
Thanks, Clay

I am very sorry to hear this, I have a good neighbor and farming partner in the same shape...We have added Clay and his family to our prayer list. I know that God's ways are not our ways, but that doesn't make it any easier to deal with some times. What helps get me through is thinking about when Joesph was thrown in the pit by his brothers and then sold as a slave. What must have went through his mind, but God could see the WHOLE picture and knew Joesph would become a great leader and later save his whole family..."If God be for us who can stand against us?"
