For Christmas I got one of these from my son.What a cool gadget.Now I can surf the web from my shop,or on the John heheheh...

Really neat for sure. I've found that these gizmos are much better for web surfing while sitting on the couch than a laptop. No heat, no cords, just grab and go.
I haven't tried it on a CC application yet, I have my snowmobile repair manuals stored in there in pdf format. It's neat to be able to just drag it out to the garage or to the dealer or wherever. I've got the iPad version, but I hear that the fire will do most everything that the iPad will do.
