They are doing ok.I quess don's back and such keeps him from doing much and they want to move to a retirement comunity with less maintance.He sure has some nice tractors.

Denny , Its good to hear that there doing OK . I met Don a few years back a one of AW's Ohio plowdays and if I remember correctly he was plowing with a red 782 with a piece of railroad rail for a front weight .
I also remember see his 1872 loader cub in action from when toolman still owned it .
I'd love to go to that auction , Don looks to have a lot of nice IH stuff , but its a bit to far for me .
I'm betting that a short fat man from Stevens , Pa. will be there though .

I see a lot of cub cadets while going down the tracks , its a shame I can't pull over and ask about them .

Don and Carol both are dong ok but the bills have taken a toll on them so they are selling most of what is left I was asked to come and buy the cub cadets about 4 weeks ago but with me being in the hosp and all I was not able to do Don justice in buying them from what I seen in the ad he prolly is saving a few

I believe in Pa once it is consigned to an auction it has to be sold there.The auction co could charge him the comission that they think they could have got for it.ICBW

I plan on going to this with two friends, we're bringing a truck and trailer and comin up from the southwest corner, 3.5hr ride. Hope to buy some stuff, help out a fellow IH family.

The 230 with all the attachments went for around 4k,the CC with the cab and plow and the 782 around 1k and the loader tractor brought 2k.all others if I remember correct when for for 400.+ each.there was a hug amount of people there,and they all knew how to big.I'm hopeing Don & carol did real well.the auction lasted probally 8 hrs.
