Is this the right axle?

I was wondering, did the 149 come with a black axle?

No...either someone painted it or it's a CCC replacement axle.

Scott,
Does it have 1" or 3/4" spindles? If it has 1" someone probably swapped the whole unit from an 82 series.

Unfortunately they are 3/4"

do these break you ask right now the biggest parts we are selling is front axle parts and castings we sold prolly 4 or 5 front castings or whole units in the last month and lots of spindles so yes and we are glad they do
