lets see your other hobbies

This is just like the old coffee shop, which was like the old coffee shop down the street. Pull up a chair, sit down and enjoy some good discussions. Please, no political, religious or racial posts.

Those are some good looking sleds and one HELL of a nice job on that VW. The back rack/attachment/trailer thing, is that an optional item or a home fab job? I've NEVER seen one.

These are my other terrible addictions...

My Jeep is currently under the knife again, always bigger and better. My XJ is a 97 rear is locked, frame stiffeners, weld in square tube rockers tied to the frame, cut the rear quarters out of it for more clearance, cut the fenders out of it for more room, homeade rear bumper with built in receiver and shackle mounts, front bumper and winch, runnin 33in BFG KM2 Mud Terrains.

Since this is a IH site this is my friend's wheeler, locked front and rear, 35in Maxxis Bighorns, 4spd, twin sticked dana 20, IH 345 V8 with fuel injection...list goes on and on it's changed some since these pictures...

Well in the summer I sit on the back porch and harass the squirrels, and get the coyotes horse so they can't howl at night . sometimes sit in a jam session when allowed . excuse the goofs don't play often enough anymore.

Looks like I'm not the only one to have a VW habit to go wtih my Cub habit. Pic of my '69 VW

I've also picked up a Porsche 914 habit. The 914 is a '75. You can't tell from the pics but my first car from when I was 16 is the green Ghia vert behind the blue 914.

I love blowing by people at about 80 mph in my bug . I just wonder what they are thinking as I blow by them as I'm laughing. I need to get my 72' westy done.

I am the Crew Chief on my Brother in Law's hot air balloon "ADO". We started flying in the balloon festivals last fall. We flew in the Alabama Jubilee in Decatur Alabama Memorial Day weekend and Gulf Coast Balloon Festival in Foley Ala Father's Day weekend. We TRY to fly every weekend if the weather permits and we are able to get enough people to help us crew. The very first time that I ever helped him, I did it just to say "I have done it" and I have been with him for just about every flight that he has made. I have flown with him several times and actually got the fly it myself twice ( he wants to teach me to fly it so that I can get my "Lighter than Air" pilots license but I enjoy being the "chase crew" rather than being the Pilot.

SO............IF anyone is interested in flying in Hot Air Balloon, I CAN HOOK YOU UP............lol

cheifsix ..,
I really like that burnt grain look on the right side. can't see the brand tho.
I mess with my old 70's Yamaha "S" Model once in awhile.
This was the second time I had it out of the case in about four years so forgive the defects. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7jbXlewCqg

That wasn't too shabby for twice every 4 years  . Pickin is a great stress reliever.

Both the acoustics are Alvarez. I really like the dark one. It is made of Koa, has a very warm smooth tone.
