For the man on the go ( or Vince's next birthday gift ) .

Post by Jlaws »

I was looking thru my latest catalog from Northern Tool + Equipment , or as I call it (MY WISH BOOK ), and I came across this little item . I can see where it would come in handy for the guy that hunts or does a lot of camping .

But what made me LMAO , and boy am I glad I wasn't drinking a softdrink when I first read it , was the next to last line in the discription , which states .

QUOTE :
Not for use when vehicle is in motion

I'm about as redneck hillbilly as they come , but give me a break . :D

They also have a video of the item , but I was afraid to watch it .....

Check out the link below for the item I'm talking about .

Jess, Ole train man like you should be familar with something like that. I used to ride the train when I was a kid, and although the "potties" were inside the passenger cars, when they were used it was kinda like that, a "straight shot" to the tracks below.........
May you always have as many landings as you do takeoff's.........

Jess, that looks like something you should send to Jay Leno. I think it would make his headlines.

Paul B., yeah we have toilets on trains and we try not to use them when the trains in motion , but at least there inside the engine .
I've heard a few conductors cuss when we go thru a turnout while its being used .

I just find it funny that they feel that they have to print a disclaimer for it not being used on a moving vehicle . Sad that somewhere somebodys probably tried .
Sounds kinda like a ( Hey Bubba watch this ) moment .

The jokes are endless .
Try explaining to your doctor how you got that bump on the back of your head from hitting the rear bumper to how you got that nasty road rash on your backside ....

Paul F., I love Jay's headlines on monday nights , and your probably right about it making the show , send it in if ya want.

Mike a turnout is just another name for a switch . A good portion of our route is single track , but there are places where its double track ( goes to two tracks called passing sidings ) for meeting trains going in the opposite direction to pass . Some of our turnouts are 45 MPH and when your train takes the siding the engines make a hard turn one way entering the switch and then turns abrubtly the opposite way when they enter the other track , causing the engines to rock just a bit . You can hear the water sloshing around in the toilet , and if your not holding on to something it will make you lose your balance while standing .
