early kohler engine question k241

Post by fitz »

Hello, I was wondering about mowing on some grades with an early cub cadet 106, will this hurt the engine, I have overhauled these and was concerned about lubrication, mainly the crank bearings? being that there is not an oil pump, It might be 10 to 12% grades then levels off again, any information please reply, thank you.

Just make sure to check the oil level before each use.

I have a steep hill here and I try to cut it going up and down it. So far not too bad wear on the eng I rebuilt it about 6 years or so ago, and I use the heck out of my 106.
