The resoration looks great. I could not resist getting in on this ford vs chevy. I can tell you that over the years this is the view that many, many camaros, corvettes and firebirds saw of this little mustang.

Thought you might like to see the rest of the car. When I built it Back in 2000 It was the highest horsepower 4.6L 2 valve in the country. And yes that is a corvette in the garage in the background.

Re: Since it is yellow does it count?
I have started on my next project.
2.3L Duratec in a Dragster. Collecting parts and data for the build. 12.5:1 Wesco pistons, Crower billet rods, stock stroke forged crank, 76MM turbo..fabricated intake and exhaust, powerglide trans Cosworth style head(Have to stay with stock head) and a pair of Crower cams with their springs and buckets....
according to crower this should develop 1215HP and 906ft-lb torque....
going for the record in I/D which stands at 6.54 and 204 and change.
Waiting on final suggested lift numbers from crower so I can calculate the correct length of the exhaust runners
Shooting for 50psi boost enhanced with 14 injector nozzles on methanol
Looking for a machine shop that will drill 10 holes so I can run studs from the top of the head under the camshafts to the bottom side of the cradle that includes the main bearings. Hope ARP can come up with the studs that I will need. Need then in the 200000ib tensile range
If you watched Pawn Stars on Sept. 13, 2010, you saw the car that I have and am using. The seller wanted $55000 for it but they passed. I got it for a whole lot less minus the power plant and transmission.
Will have to do some experimenting with the intake after initial calculations.
BB looking for a driver...want shot?
