Server problem? Site slow, unresponsive.

This is just like the old coffee shop, which was like the old coffee shop down the street. Pull up a chair, sit down and enjoy some good discussions. Please, no political, religious or racial posts.

Server problem? Site slow, unresponsive.

PM from another member confirms it isn't just me. Has it been slow for everyone?

Tom , its been real ( painfully ) slow for me too . I thought it might have been my computer , but the other sites I visit seem to work OK .

On a side note :
I know this sites been changed to allow HUGH pictures for posting . But sometimes it takes several minutes for my computer to show them , and I've got a newer faster computer .
Do we really need to upload 2 Meg pictures for posting ?
I see a lot of cub cadets while going down the tracks , its a shame I can't pull over and ask about them .

I am having that problem also. I hope to see Dave Chester this week and will discuss this problem. I go to this thread and it acts like our site. http://www.redpowermagazine.com/forums/ ... ntry861548 Not acting up now but they allow large uploads.

Was slow for me too. But I'm recovering from spinal fusion surgery in my neck so I'm not allowed to do anything else right now.

Ditto-
William, I tried to PM Dave twice but don't think that either made it through.
I have been unable to log out also.
Fear not- I'm confident that our best and brightest minds are on it !

Seems all better now. This slowness event didn't have anything to do with pics; even menu screens were not loading. It was more of a hang-up than slow loading.
