Well i have been thinking, learning, planing, and preparing for zinc plating at home for about a year. I recently picked up another project that needed lots of new hardware to make the job look good. So i decided i would send it out as there was now hundreds of pieces. Local shop said $120 min charge for up to about 300 lbs, i would say i had about 100 lbs. They were zinc plated with a yellow chromat coating. If it was all cub stuff i may not have done the yellow but most r for the foreign tractor which had the yellow as there stock bolt color. Notice in the last bucket pic the washer that was about half done, that was thick heavy rust. I put that in just to see how good they can do.lol When i picked them up i felt like i was ten yrs old on Christmas morning.lol Dave
