Got a new house

Post by ksanders »

Unfortunately I'm not around much anymore. Did some fun reading tonight catching up. I got a new house I hope is a permanent residence. Just what I was looking for so long. One fun surprise is I don't have access to big equipment now so all the sudden my hardly used cub collection is finding heavy use.

Spent hours shredding limbs with the 73. Filled up 2/3 of my truck bed with chips. Did some bush hogging with the 982, followed by grading in a hole, then plowing with the cat 0 and later discing myself a garden area. Did a nice job for unplowed ground turning over new soil. Pulled a couple action shots over the last week or so. Kind of fun needing all this stuff again. The cat 0 is really convenient when you switch a lot of implements.

Tom,
The cat 0 blade is so convenient because while the front Haban or a front IH 42" would also do well, 15 seconds and you're off and plowing with the cat 0. I can't do that with the Haban. That's for sure.
No more expensive than a light duty one is and the fact that a Cub isn't big enough to break even the cheapest blade, it's a nice inexpensive attachment in my opinion.

My bad. Shows my priorities. Sadly with all the repairs and customizing the house I don't even have all the Cubs over yet. Here's the house and new cub storage / small workshop

That work shop looks interesting, I could see a tractor and attachment parked out in the "wings" with a clear runway down the middle... There's one like that online, guy collects GE Electracs. http://www.myelec-traks.com/
