GT auction

This is just like the old coffee shop, which was like the old coffee shop down the street. Pull up a chair, sit down and enjoy some good discussions. Please, no political, religious or racial posts.

GT auction

Post by Jlaws »

Rick Harris and I went to a preview of a auction that they are having this Wednesday at a Simplicity dealership that went bust . He has fallen on hard times and the bank is now auctioning off his parts inventory and old parts tractors .
He carried a lot of Cub and Kohler parts and we both had bought parts from him in the past . This is also the place I purchased my first Cub 800 from about 15 years ago .
I was amazed at how he just let his old tractors and GT's rot away in the field behind his shop .
Here is just a few pictures of the 100 or more GT's he has in the weeds behind his shop . Rick and I had to sometimes climb over two or three tractors to get to one that we were interested in . ....We seen a lot of Deeres , Allis Chambers , Simplicities , Craftsman , Wheel Horse and a few other brands .
Cub Cadet's that I remember seeing included a 72 , 109 , 1200 , 126 , 383H LT , 1806 , 1210 and either a 1450 or 1650 .
