Built in Cuba

This is just like the old coffee shop, which was like the old coffee shop down the street. Pull up a chair, sit down and enjoy some good discussions. Please, no political, religious or racial posts.

The Oggún may be the world’s first open source tractor. The frame of the Oggún 1.0 base model is an original design but rooted in the Allis-Chalmers Model G, a mainstay of the postwar farming boom of the late 1940s and early ’50s.

Thanks for the post Paul. Just wondering what your thoughts on this were? Idk.....for me it looks like a toy designed by two guys who have not farmed...lol. I will stop beating around the bush...and get right to my thoughts as a tractor for farming . too light for traction, too flimsy, too expensive for what u r getting, and most of all...ITS TOO UGLY! I hope u did not invest yet ;)

Lot's of farms these days are 4 season farms sporting hoop houses for winter production. This unit would be ideal for these farmers. Not everyone grows 2,000 acres of corn.
