Been cool all day here in Louisville, temp in the 40's and low 50"s with some much needed rain all day long. Just been one of those lazy kind of day's........

Might as well get comfortable since Thursday looks to be another bad one. Of course, they've added 10 degrees to Thursday's forecast since last I checked, so it'll probably end up about 80 and sunny
By the way, I always misunderstood rainy cold days to be garage-bound Cub days as opposed to outdoor Cub days. Makes for great days to sandblast small parts that need to be done and do a lot of bench repairs on the smaller parts.

This time of year around these parts oldtimers can still be heard to call it downleaf time- that part of the year when it's not Fall nor Winter but something in between. The tourists have gone home and then there is the silence that sets in all around. We had a strong cold driving rain that lasted throughout the night without letup- no snow here to speak of yet. I started up the fireplace to help take the chill out and enjoy the rays. Tommy knew what to do-

Here is my cat William sleeping in front of the heater. It was a little to bright for him so he covered his eyes with his paw. lol
