1772 Diesel w/deck

1772 Diesel w/deck

Post by TractorDan »

Well, it may be time to part with some of my toys and this one is the first to be considered. Looking for some advice on a price to ask for it. Parked 5 yrs ago, ran when it was parked. The power steering piston is broken, but I have it on the work bench. It does have a deck... any thoughts for value.

Thanks,
Dan

My opinion.....it looks like it need a fair amount of TLC. Running.... Ask $2200....and settle at $1800. None running..... probably knock $500 off those numbers.

Dan - As dag says, non-running makes a big drop in price. "Ran five years ago" is non-running for a prospective buyer. You didn't mention what deck or condition. I would agree with dags numbers for this area for a 50C deck in a condition that matches the tractor. A pristine 50C or Haban might increase the value.

Also values can be quite regional, so I'm not sure how your area compares to our market.
1872, 46", 50C decks, Haban dozer blade, 450 snow blower
2182-1, Kwik-Way Loader, 3-pt & rear pto, 442 tiller
2182-2, 54" deck, 551 snow blower
Past tractors:  1541, 2135

Okay, thank you both. Yes, if it starts up that is great, but sitting for several years is always a consideration. Definitely worth spending the time to get it running, makes a buyer more comfortable during the transaction.
