HOW DO YOU POST PICTURES

Post by wdeturck »

There are 2 ways to post pictures.

The first uses the Img above that can take pictures from an internet site like the Gallery or Photo Bucket. I went to the Gallery and took the first picture and right clicked, then and came back here and used the Img above Image and pasted that between the brackets ][.
That is a thumb nail so you won't have a problem with size of those.

I just went and opened a 1260 x 1600 pixel picture and that opened to the maximum size allowed by the Gallery for the above picture. I clicked on the picture and it opened to the 1200 x 1260 size and only shows what is on the screen of the very large picture.

This function may not work on all internet sites. and I use it mainly for posting pictures from the parts breakdown like this site http://www.cngcoinc.com/parts-browse.asp.

The second is to use the Upload Attachment which is below next to the options. Click on that and a browse button appears and when you click om it will open your computer some where in your pictures. Select a picture and select open. That will bring you back where you started and select add file. your computer will now load that picture on Posted Attachments and a file comments box for the picture and the name of the file.

The picture may now be loaded where you want in your post.

If you want more just repeat that process again,. you don't have to re-size the pictures
This is a 500K picture

if you click on the + on the picture picture it will open bigger than your screen. You don't have to re-size.

Good Luck.
If you ask questions about this post I will try to edit it and make it a sticky to stay at the top of the Coffee Shop.

In my opinion the best way to post the pics is to upload it rather than hosting from another site. I have noticed on a lot of other forums I have run into that the pics were no longer available on the host site.
