I finished up in Lynchburg and started home this morning but not without a swing towards Roanoke.
Met a real nice guy and bought some Original stuff.
I haven't done much cubbin lately, it helped restore some sanity. I'm posting from my cell while grabbing some lunch in Winchester.

Nice batch of goodies. I can see me waking early on Christmas morning and there in my stocking is that taillight Just in case that doesn't happen...enjoy your fresh find. Personally I don't believe that all those parts are for an "O" ( bottom picture). Glad to here they are keeping you out of trouble working you. Be safe on your travels.

Nice guy. He had the same extreme pucker situation I did with an Original and the old single brake. He was pulling his boat trailer around the house and took off down through the yard with one wheel locked up and the other doing 20mph.
He handled it the right way.
Dual brakes on an Original.

I haven't decided what to do with the Grote light yet. I figured I'd root through one of the boxes I brought in out of the snow thinking it was just some foot plates and junk, FOUND ME AN ORIGINAL CREEPER! Color me surprised...
The shifter is broken but it looks to be in working order. Is there anything I should check for?
Don't know what I'm going to do with it yet. Maybe IT will get an upgrade, maybe not. Woohooo

I would put the KEEP in the creeper

Scott: It's real easy to make a cool tool handle for the creeper.

I have replaced this one with a plastic one

Beer taps are 3/8"-16 threads(Jam nut optional0

Here is a picture of a creeper handle to guess where the holes go. The bottom hole can be an open on the end slot with th.e steel rod

With a slot on the bottom you don't have to take out that roll pin. The handle goes on after you get the creeper installed

how often do those dual brake pedals show up on ebay? I'm adding split brakes to our 72 (did the old one sliding/one spinning backwards thing last winter- plus if one starts spinning, can brake it to get torque to other side).

got the calipers and discs, was going to fab pedals till a search popped this picture up...
