kwik way loader belt

Post by MattS »

I just picked up a kwik way loader model # 45-18710 for a 2182. I got everything except the belt. Does anyone know what the length is for the belt or have a number I can crossover to get it local? Thanks

Matt,

If no one can get you the number, email Kwik Way. They will get back to you pretty quickly. I have emailed about several different manuals and they have always been quick to email a manual to me.

David, Here are some more pics. I took a shop crane, added an axle and put a trailer tongue on it. It comes in real handy.

I bought a 5l430 today but it is just a hair too big. I'm gonna return for a 5l420 tomorrow.

Matt,
That mobile shop crane is the idea I've been waiting for. Looks simple, strong and just darn clever.

Matt , I like your tow crane , neat ideal .
But when you get that loader mounted you'll definitely be using that tow crane a lot less . I love my loader cub .
I see a lot of cub cadets while going down the tracks , its a shame I can't pull over and ask about them .

I agree that tow crane is great, got me thinking. But I still want a front end loader!

Well, I got the 5L420 and it was too big, I took it back and got a 5L410 and 5L400. Now I just have to get it running before the snow hits us.

I know the loader will get most of the use when it comes to lifting, but I think it is only rated for @400lbs. The crane is rated for 5000lbs. Although once I had put the tongue and axle on it, it changed the lifting capacity. When I lift something real heavy, I need to add a few hundred pounds the the tongue or it will lift the rear of the tractor clean off the ground.
