I know how to do it to a Roosa-master / Stanadyne style pump. The same pumps used on the 5.7/6.2/6.9 Diesel engines. It would be a bit hard to explain without pictures.

Assuming it is the same as the 782D, 1512, 1572 etc, there is a screw that sticks out of the timing cover towards the rear of the tractor. It will probably have a tamper cap that will have to be pried off. Then remove the acorn nut that covers the screw.
Loosen the jam nut then back the screw out to increase fuel. I wouldn't go more than 1 turn and even at that you should have a
pyrometer to keep an eye on your exhaust temp.

Farmallgray, you wouldn't by chance have the torque spec for that timing cover in your head??? I am about to torque mine down and my book doesn't have the spec for the bolts. Kubota 2203E.

If they are M6x1.0 bolts I would go about 8 ft lbs. My D-1105 book doesn't give a spec for the timing cover either. But that is what it gives for other M6x1.0 bolts.

Thanks farmall, after being tortured by the 3 throttle and govener springs I stopped caring about torque specs. I have complete books on a 1402 and the 2203 but neither has torque specs. Go figure
