Love mowing with this 2082and the Haban deck is great; but my yard is hilly and the PTO kicks off all the time would by passing the seat switch be an option Also the brakes are lousy so I try and use hydro to hold it back going down hill;but thePto kicks out alsoWhat all is necessary to allevite This problem? I am the only person who runs this tractor Thanks

Ken,the 2 bolts that go down through your safety switch plate under your seat,you can take them loose, add washers and bolt them down tight or just install a hitch pin large enough to hold the plate down tight. If your reverse cut out switch is the problem using the hydro to hold back either bend the tab that touches the hydro lever in your dash or break it off completely to solve your problem.

You may need to do a trunnion repair or replace your trunnion springs/washers. It shouldn't speed up much going down hill.
