Is a 582 Special good for anything other than mowing the grass? Is there any interest in this tractor anymore? I am in the process of dealing and one of the tractors is a 582 special. Can it plow snow or dirt with the belt drive?
If it only works as a mower I will trade it for something else later?

We have one of our set up as a puller. It with out pull our regular 582 in the heavier weight classes.

I have seen a few of them plowing at plow days, and I know of a lot that plow snow, and never heard of one breaking. Just keep in mind that the drive belt is a wear item, so keep a spare on hand.
