Bryan ,nice thread ,glad to see some interest in the 3000 series. This kinda sounds like your dump truck quest? I remember all your road trips getting them.

No, folks I can't make this stuff up and we live in the time of information... it's a shame more of it isn't accurate.

Here is a couple pics of my 3240's. They both now have Tru Power rear tires and V-61 fronts. I also bought a new fender deck for the one with the 3pt as the original fender deck had some major dents in both sides.

I was able to peel the original anniversary sticker off the rear of the fender and clean it up and reinstall with some 3M spray adhesive.

I still have a few things to do, and I want to get my NOS 3pt installed on the other tractor and get the original cast rear fixed for it. I was going to push snow with the 1st one this winter, and I still may but I may just use my old reliable 782.

Too many projects too little time.

These tractors were also sold overseas as Massey Ferguson tractors. I gotta say they do look good in red. I can see a red one with some sweeping 782 style decals...

Bryan, my neighbor has a 3205 that needs some help in the front hydraulics area, so I will be curious of any 3000 series adventures...

I'm going to have to have a liquidation sale this spring of all the Cubs I don't want. I really like these 3K series tractors

That said, I was lazy with tractors this fall and ended up throwing the blade on my trusty ole 782 to push the snow we had, but I think next year I will not be PUSHING snow...

Nope, not stupid at all, just means that whatever you are getting is worth 24 hours of travel. I am contemplating a long trip myself to get something, so I understand. You have really got my interest, will be looking forward to seeing what your acquisition is. Safe travels!

Here's a sneak peak. Left Friday at 6pm and got back Sunday morning at just after midnight. We did make a stop for a couple hours at the mall of America.

BB, is that a GT3200 I see in the truck with a blower? You are da man! I just picked up a GT3100 a couple months ago but it needs some new tins. Let's see some more pics!

I would say a GT3200 or a GT3235 "no tail lights".Either way it looks like it is in great shape from that picture

It is a 2008 GT 3200 with just over 300 hrs. I have not yet unloaded it from the truck. I was worn completely out yesterday.

I wanted a snow blower and you just can't find them around here. It came with a super nice 46" deck that looks to have been used twice. The smaller deck will be nice sometimes.

I'm not trying to corner the market just get some attachments that fit these tractors as these are what I see myself using from here on out.

Now if I could just find a tiller...

Wow sounds like u found a nice machine there.....and a snowblower to boot! I know nothing about these tractors u speak of. How many HP engines we talking about and was a 60 inch mower an option . Looks good! Dave

Dag, the GT3200 should have a 25 HP Kohler Command engine. They are awesome machines with shaft driven attachments, foot controlled hydro, power steering and some have the differential like the one posted. I hear that the hydraulic tillers do a great job too.

I was going to build a tractor a couple years ago that suited me. I was going to use a 782 with the Cyclops, front axle, and power steering, the cv driveshaft, and a command engine. These 3K series tractors have what I wanted to build plus the foot controlled hydro. So I have a complete dual hydraulic IH built 782 and a 1864 out back I was gonna put together into one tractor to build in my mind the ultimate Cub Cadet! It's just that Cub already did that for me and I just didn't know it! So yeah I am liking the 3K series!

Yep you get a shaft drive deck, i really like my 60" on my 3235 and the 25 command.

I really like the 3240's.IMO one of the best looking colors they have done.I also like the 3200,last GT made.So its on my list.You don't have to say the town you got it in MN.But i am wonder what part? Thanks for the update

Hi Bryan - Sounds like a good plan. 300 hours on a GT3200 is just broken in, how did you learn of it? Is there a story or did you just happen to see it for sale? I would like a tiller also, but $1,500 is steep for me too.

I was thinking about buying a used 3000 series but I value my time more than that. I'm not sure I would go after a free one if I had to drive that far. There are many factors to consider.
