Should it stay or should it go

Post by drcjv »

I finally picked up an 1882 I bought a week or so ago. This thing is unbelievable it is the nicest original super I have come across, this makes # 28 for me. Can't decide what to do keep or sell. I am not a cyclops guy as a rule, I have had 5 2182s but sold them all. This thing looks like it was never used. Hour meter shows under 100hrs but I don't think its working. The entire tractor has one scratch that's it, all plastic is perfect, all original decals like new. The only thing I can find wrong was one of the 1882 decals was peeling so I took it off and ordered new. I put a pretty nice 50C deck that I had on it. With the new style Cub Cadet seat this thing looks like it could be sitting on a dealer's floor today. What do you cyclops experts think?

I think I wish I was in Vermont with a pocket full of money. I bet it still smells new.

But my opinion might not count, you asked what the cyclops experts thought!

Beautiful tractor, you may never see another one that clean.

Yea Wow! Charles I think that's worth keeping for a while. Collect some sales brochures and show room tags. I think I got some of that showroom stuff on eBay a couple years ago. :)

Vinny....u and I r always on the same page.....but what's in Vermont?

Dave, a sales brochure came with it. When you going to get a 1772 to complete the set?

Charles, i don't see any supers for sale around here anymore....is craigslist still popular....lol. Besides getting over the diesel price....I would have to think real hard if I need another. I guess I could sell one of the 2072s. Dave
