I think Im about done with the build. I was toying with the idea of an oil pressure gauge but decided not to go there. I will update when this beast gets installed. Not sure when that will b but might not b too long as work has slowed a bit for winter here.

Big Mike, I gotta ask, what's all about the Total Seal rings? IIRC I think they are top notch.

Looking good Dag. It will be 1 year in about 3 weeks since you started.....just busting ya. I've had the same machine in my shop for 1 year too and I'm getting tired looking at it. :D

So I'm thinking I might do something like this......Scaled down of course. An engine run stand for the Magnum. I did not look at any wiring schematic yet to see what is needed. Let me know if you know of the top of your head.

I have always wanted an engine run stand and I thought this was my chance. But after getting some old Cub dash pedestals out of the Attic.....I decided to scratch the idea. I can have the engine back in its home in 1/4 of the time it will take to build the stand. Oh well...I will have to wait.

It won't take much to bench test that one...just put fuel to it, get the starter to crank and it should run. If your only doing it once just choke it out for shut down.

Thanks Joe. Yea I was not sure how much wiring was needed. I guess I was over thinking it as I wanted a tach, battery tray, gas tank, throttle cable, choke, key switch.....Where does it end. I think I will just throw it in....That will b super easy! Just have a little house cleaning to take care of....

Uhh......well.... umm.....not yet. . Im Kinda disappointed with myself! Most job's around the house r on a level of priority...and this is not too high. I'm thinking once the grass slows and I get my front side walk project done I will b able to circle back to this. Thanks for asking and I need to set a goal for myself.
