Hydro release lever

Post by nicky1 »

Does anyone know the procedure for adjustment on the Hydro release lever on a 1440? Mine seems to move the same whether the lever is up or down. Maybe a valve stuck or something ? :?

check to make sure there isn't any dirt / grass built up behind the lever on the trans. keeping it from pushing the button in. watch the button to see if it moves and adjust accordingly

Thank you much Dale. I have tried to find a service manual on line and have had no luck. This is my first Hydro.

Service manual is easy. There isn't one. What they did was to use the service manual for the earlier Cyclops units with some updates. downloads.php?view=detail&df_id=14
