Please help me identify model

Post by Ianb »

I have come across a Cub on Ebay, please could someone help me identify the model, it is a Cyclops I believe.

Are the front spindles 1" or 3/4", if they are 3/4" is the width of the wheel centre the same as a Cub Cadet 106? As I have a 106 with skinny front wheels and would rather have wider ones.

Thanks

Looks like a 1440. Manual lift and hydro drive. One of the first of the cyclops family.
Owner of an 1863, 2263 (1863 W 22hp engine!) 2084 and a 2 - 2284s.

Engine looks different, it’s not a 1440 I think they made a 1335? Looks like a single onan to me? Hard to say, either way, nothing will work on the 106 except the rear tires.

There was a 1340, One year tractor. I've only seen a couple. Those had a single 12.5 Kohler on them. Became the 1440.

Easy way to find out. Look on the silver plate on the left side of the tunnel and post the number on the top row that ends -100
