60" 190-374-100 deck 6.5" top of double pulley came off

Pulled the loader off the 2082 and hung the 60" deck under it. second time mowing grass and the top pulley of the center drive pulley came loose and was just spinning on the shaft I've removed the deck and pulled the pulley off, it looks to have been pressed on This double pulley is NLA Thinking of welding it with my Mig What do you guys think? Man that stinks. I have been using a 60 every week for last 8-10 yrs. Does it look like it broke....or how was it attached originally? Weld or call Ray Weaver see if he has any. He ships every day I'm sure. Let us know how it goes.

Dag; I welded it a few spots around the top of the shaft Took my time as I was afraid of getting it too hot Finished putting the deck on this morning and finished my mowing all seems okay The pulley looks like it was a press fit and there was a narrow copper colored band in it Have a great day guys Ken in PA

Ok yeah...I have seen that copper braze on several Cub pulleys.
