I spent last night finishing the station support system and today I fabbed up the pump mount. The loader is a PF Engineering loader. it was built by a young man as a college welding project and originally set up for a cc100. Jim Land built this in the 90's and after getting graded on it, i aquired it from him.

Dave, eventually, i had planned on custom building a front end similar to loader mutts. push-push!
thanks for the comments all. I have been planning to do this for 15 years and was going to go on my 147, then when it came down to actually getting it started, i decided to put it on the 2072 since it is runnuing, using cub.

Good so far!
Make a stout bash-plate to protect that pump... in front, and below... because you'll NEED it
Is that pump rated for an overhanging load, or is it fitted to an overhung load adapter? most hydraulic pumps don't take side-load forces of a belt... if not, consider going to a toothed-belt drive and some large diameter sheaves, so you don't need belt tension in order to transmit power.

Dave, the guy that built the loader, Jim Land, painted the pump along with the tag on it so i don't even know what the pump brand is. therefore i cannot check the specs.
i looked at running the pump from some other means via behind the hydro pump, but i have rear pto driven there and the driveshaft isn't a good option either, no room without some major reconstruction and extreme customization. as for right now i have to run it off the front pto to get it working, then maybe i will change it to an adapter spindle with some type of lovejoy coupler to drive the pump. i have a feeling this pump is pretty small and Jim got this one as cheap as possible to get the grade. I have the PF Engineering plans. i will look and see if he used the recommended pump.

Looks good Eric.
Any plans to upgrade front spindles and bearings?

cholloway, yes, eventually i will build a heavier front end. i actually have a heavy-duty boat trailer axle to steel the spindles and hubs off of. right now i am pondering building a new reservoir. because of the mounting placement i had to employ for the stantions, everything is in the way of piping the lines. original tank IS one of the stantions. i am thinking that a combo bumper-reservoir is going to materialize. i have some 4.5"x4.5" square tube steel with 1/4" walls. all depends on clearance in the front between it and the bucket. tomorrow will tell the tale. pole barn was an oven tonight and way to humid for my taste.

Dag, it wasn't made specifically for a 100. it is one model fits all, with modifications of course for each tractor. if you look up PF Engineerings web site, you'll see the same loader on just about every brand of garden tractor and even some sub-compacts. i have the complete set of plans that you can order. i made some modifications and corrected some overlooked issues tonight so i didn't get to the bash and bomb plate for the front end, but it will come. supposed to be 92 degrees here tomorrow in Ohio with a feels like temp of 95 to 97, so i may not work on it tomorrow night after supper. the pole barn is just a big oven!
