1872 repower kit

Post by cwcub »

My 1872 engine is done and I’ve been looking at repower kits from small engine warehouse vs Jim’s repair. Jim’s is about $600 more for same engine. Just wondering if anyone has experience With these kits? Any significant diff?

I installed a Honda GX610 from Small engine Warehouse years ago into my 682. Decent price and included everything for the installation. The coupler was machined perfectly.

Good to know. Did you have to buy a remote oil filter kit? I see Jim’s kit comes with it small engine Warehouse does not

You shouldn't need it. The filter will mount directly to motor and side panel should still go on.

On the Honda GX 610 the filter fits.
