Can anyone tell me what the part # would be for the lower discharge chute on a 551 snowblower? I need to replace mine as the cogs are all worn out for adjusting the directional adjustment. I haven't been able to find the info that I need for this.
Thank You,
Here's a pic of the tag on the snowblower...

The current part number is 731-0903E for the lower chute, if the teeth are chewed up you may want to replace the chute keepers as well as they get worn and cause binding. Those are # 731-0851A. Another common reason for the teeth to wear is if the rotator screw isn't adjusted correctly. If it's out to far it only hits the tops of the notches and eats them quick. When you install the new chute a nice coating of silicone grease in the areas that touch can really help as well.
