Need help with my 1720

Hi guys. Been a loooooong time since i posted on here! I purchased a 1720 and am having trouble adjusting the rod for the hydro. I know the rear is good because it moved forward and backwards before my neighbor decided to help me out when i was at work. Lol. Now i cant seem to get reverse and im almost out of adjusting rod. The hydro lever is bottomed out on the dash and it barely goes in reverse. Any help would be great. Thanks. Joe
