364 snow blower drive pully
I brought home a 2nd 195-364-100 snow blower. Does the drive pulley "float" on the splined drive shaft??? (#12 on #11)

It isn't set screwed in place. It is held in place by the bolt that holds the assembly together.
Bolt 21 retains the shaft and pulley in place. The shaft gets the washer(31) installed, then the key(10) then the pulley(12). Now you install the shaft through the two bearings(26 &17) with the spacer(18) between them. Then bolt 21 threads into the end of the shaft and gets torqued in place.

Thanks for the reply. I see now how it is held on the shaft. Both PTO assemblies when put on the tractor(1872) ,The pulley is missed-matched by 3/4". I re-fabed the first one I put on the tractor. I thought it was odd that both were off by the same amount. It still is one heck of a snow blower!!

You may also notice from looking threw the parts blowouts that there is a different pulley and idler setup available. Or at least used to be available. It was intended to make the blower work on the QL series. I was able to find a NOS pulley and modified the existing idler to work on my 1650D.
