54" Blade on 2082

Post by kbrothers »

Downloaded amodel 761-406 Haban manual Thanks for the info on that. Got everything together and its mounted ; except for where it mounts to frame at rear. My subframe sweeps up at rear and both sides have a piece that goes up oneach side of the frame anchor plates (used for the mower deck ) The mounting pin will not fit thru the outside holes on the sub frame, they are smaller than the two on the insde Not being the sharpest crayon in the box what am I missig here? Thanks Ken in Pa

I've got exactly the same blade on my 1872. My pin fits both as would be expected, so has anyone "customized" your frame? I guess I would just drill out the frame to the same hole size. I wouldn't put a smaller rod in and allow some slop.

The 54" blade has two plates that bolt to the frame and the sub frame for the blade mounts to these plates. They are about 5" x 6" ..
I have two but the are at the farm 50 miles away or I'd shoot you a pcture.
Your subframe should have a slot on the end so the plate slips between the two sides and a pin goes though both sides...
I looked through my literature but I don' t have the manual for the blade... everything else...

Frank, I think that's what is going on there are two different plates One ha-14300 which is the one on this tractor which had a 60" deck hung from them. The anchor plates for the plow are CC-20277 and NLA Always my luck. Thanks Ken in Pa
