Jess,
He has been listing those for quite some time. They started out at a higher price (don't remember what it was) and he keeps relisting them every day or so, even has them listed on more than just the Louisville Craiglist site. Wonder how he "knew" they were for a "Cub Cadet mower deck"......?

Ok, I've been as bad as everyone else, not posting lately. My excuse, busy, mind on the primary spring chore, making wood. I know I've posted previous pics that are similar because, well, I set up the same every time; loader tractor to pull splitter, another tractor to handle delivery. Only five cords to go :?, so gotta keep moving...

I do have Cub some stuff to post, just too busy to do a decent thread. Got a wheel weight build and install that I liked, and just finished rebuilding the rear with my friend for his 2182. It was nice to build another differential and kind of cement the job in my mind. Wonder if I will keep doing one a year, wouldn't mind a year off on that job!

I have had a water problem for the last ten years here where the driveway meets the parking area. I made a couple storm drain boxes a few years back. Gathered a bunch of 8 inch pipe up in North Jersey about 7 years ago. I hope to remedy the problem this week. I will give a couple up date pics.

Wow Paul...Thanks! I am excited too, this has been a long time coming. Every winter the water that keeps crossing turns to ice and i cant do a thing about it. One year it was about 8 inches thick. Im in a rain delay now as i would like a couple dry days on the lawn so i dont mess it up too bad with the machines. The finished inlet boxes i made the form then took it to the job and poured it w leftover cement. So i will take this extra time to precast my outlet boxes. I can not get this to drain to daylight....well i could but my neighbor would probably sue me. I am going to install a small 1-1/2 clean out in the heel of the 90 at the end that i may run to daylight. I am using mostly perforated pipe and backfilling with clean stone and filter fabric as to let any remaining water that will lay in the pipe perc into the nice clay soil we have here.lol. It may b a couple weeks till i get to this cause work and vacation.

Wow, casting your own concrete boxes, you really do have time on your hands! Really, that is impressive.

So, outlet box....how does this design work? Perforated leader from inlet box feeds outlet box, then what? Is it just box with holes to leach into the surrounding ground?

I want to see a piping schematic... A chart with flow rates would be nice too...oops, that was out loud...

My new "out let" form has seen a lot of action over the last few days. I poured two times. For these small ones I just used a better bag mix with the fiberglass "hair" in the concrete mix. I tried something new :x instead of oiling the wood form before the pour i painted it w a coat of polyurethane i had on hand. I let it dry plenty. This did not work.......the form does not stick, it just absorbs to much water and makes the outside surface powdery. I will brush this off and seal it anyway. The top edge that is seen is very hard and nice. The second one i did tonight and i went back to the mix of diesel and oil for the form . :)

The driveway pipe work is hopefully coming soon.....but in the mean time I'm just messin around with some small projects. Two valves have been waiting for paint for a long time. I don't know what color Cub used on these.....or even if Cub painted them. It seems close to cat or case......so I went w the cat. Let me know if u found a better color or what u guys have used. First time using magic brand from tractor supply.....seems OK so far. Gave about three light coats today. Says to wait 24 hours between coats.....so I will hit these again tomorrow. The stick in the last pic is cub cadet yellow

Well....as Tom figured out, I had some time on my hands this past Friday. I asked the whole family to help.....and boy am I glad I did. This was a bigger job than I thought. Mostly because we must have hit a " burry pit" from the old farm that used to sit on this property. Got one pipe in and just need to fine tune some grading. In a couple weeks I hope to do another out the lane further.
