Some brother he is.... unloading his junk on you. I hope he at least said Merry Christmas. Unless u have a yard full of quietline parts..... start looking for a complete tractor. Most times it's a better deal buying a complete non running tractor.... unless u need a new engine. Then just buy a complete one. It does look fun though. Keep us updated

Re: look what followed me home today
I know its a little late asking , but what is the serial number on the original's reduction housing ? Its hard to tell from the picture but it might be a early production one . I say this because I don't see a hole for a creeper , which indicates it may be early . Do you have any more pictures of it ?
I see a lot of cub cadets while going down the tracks , its a shame I can't pull over and ask about them .

I don't think the slots in this tunnel cover and the lever are correct for a 1650.
Does anyone have pictures of how they should be.

Not sure what that lever is for? A hydro should have a sold cover. More info and pictures would be helpful.

I think that lever is the one that should be next to the steering wheel.

Knob looks to be from a newer lawn tractor for height adjustment. The handle could be the shifter.... it does look very similar to what should be there.

This was cub cadets attempt at a tractor for people with disabilities. The hydro lever was put there to comply with the American disabilities act of 1977.
You have a rare tractor there my friend. That might be worth saving.

Re: look what followed me home today
dag is the only disability in this thread! Ken, that's why I refuse to talk to him on April 1st, everything he says on that day is a lie! The rest of the year only yanks your chain sporadically...
It does indeed look like someone went through the effort to move the hydro "go stick" down to the tunnel. Perhaps they had real short arms!

Re: look what followed me home today
What is a handicapped guy supposed to use, thats in the area of the tunnel, to make the tractor go???
If its what I'm thinking, he'd REALLY have to like using that machine.

Re: look what followed me home today
It would be perfect for someone with no right arm.
Actually, someone put quite a bit of thought into that one
